Almost half of the UK's digital exports go to the European Union, recently published UK government figures have revealed, amid growing concerns in the tech industry ahead of the country's scheduled departure from the EU at the end of 31 October.

Documents released on Monday (11 February) disclose a private meeting between Commission Secretary-General Martin Selmayr and representatives from the telecommunications giant Vodafone and reveal that "no special contingency measures for data flows" will be taken out in the case of a no-deal Brexit.
