Microbial and macrobial pesticides, or ‘biologicals’, have been rapidly gaining attention as a sustainable and environmentally friendly viable alternative to chemical pesticides. However, they are currently hampered by maladapted regulation, says the International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association (IBMA). EURACTIV reports.
